A few guidelines for the new home buying experience:
We have so many tools at our command to make a virtual visit to our Design Center and Model Homes the coolest thing you’ve done all week! Seriously, that screenshot of your video tour will be Instagram Story worthy.
While you wait for your virtual appointment check out these fun and helpful tools on our website:
A. Interactive Home Plans – add rooms, stretch rooms, put a bonus room upstairs – you are now a master architect! Send your saved plan to your New Home Consultant during your video call.
B. Virtual Home Plan Tours – spend time “walking around” all of our Move-In Ready homes – imagine what your couch will look like in the living room, see how you can watch Netflix while doing food prep in the kitchen!
C. Interactive Site Maps – each of our communities has a site map that shows which sites are available, and which have Market Homes are being built. Pop-ups give you all the info on a Market Home and link you back to that home’s page with more details and pictures.
D. Photo and Video Gallery – we have loads of pictures of all the great features and rooms in our homes – truly Pinterest worthy browsing and dream inspiring!
2. Visiting our Design Center or Model Homes– at this time no one except employees and homebuyers with appointments are allowed in our Design Center or Model Homes.
If you are coming to the Design Center or Model Home for an appointment, we ask that you wash your hands upon entering, and use the hand sanitizer available in several places.
We aren’t shaking hands, elbow bumping, or back-slapping. We are staying the recommended safe distance of 6 ft away, and ask you to do the same.
Perfectly acceptable ways to for us to greet one another:
While you are visiting, please resist the temptation to touch samples or surfaces. While we are constantly wiping down and sanitizing every door handle, faucet, countertop, and laptop – your assistance in keeping these surfaces as germ-free as possible is very appreciated!
We will fill out visitor forms for you and get any signatures needed electronically.
3. Touring a Market Home
We will be happy to leave the lights on for you and let you tour the home on your own. Rest assured we disinfect every home after each visit.
4. Start dreaming about your new home – online
If you are “just looking”, are bored and need something to do, or are just starting your home buying journey, we ask that you take advantage of all the online tools Pratt has to offer. You can even get preapproved for a mortgage loan with our preferred lender – all online and in your pajamas!
5. If you are comfortable visiting in person – come see us!
Our model homes are open. We are limiting tours to one family at a time in the home. This allows us time to sanitize everything before the next visitor arrives. We ask that you please be patient if you are asked to wait to enter the home.
6. Why are we keeping our Design Center, Model Homes, and Market Homes open?
– It’s still a great time – to thoughtfully and safely – buy a new home in Chattanooga
– To continue to create the American dream of homeownership for our incredible customers
– To keep our staff working and out of the unemployment office
– To support auxiliary companies – like our trades and cleaning staff – and keep them working as long as possible
– To not interrupt the schedule of those who already had planned to tour our Models and Market Homes
